Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 6, 2026
Our Commitment
Smile Art Dental Studio is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access to dental information and the ability to schedule care should not depend on how you browse the web.
We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and we apply relevant accessibility standards as part of our ongoing development.
Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including limitations to vision, hearing, mobility, and cognition.
We have not yet completed a formal third-party audit, so we describe our current status as partially conformant: most of the site meets the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria, and we are actively working on the remaining gaps.
Measures We Take
- We design and build pages with semantic HTML so screen readers and assistive technology can interpret content correctly.
- We provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images (such as our doctor headshot, before/after gallery photos, and logos).
- Interactive elements like buttons, links, and form fields are keyboard-accessible and have visible focus indicators.
- Our color palette is chosen with sufficient contrast between text and background.
- Forms include clear labels and helpful error messages.
- Our layout is responsive and reflows cleanly on mobile, tablet, and desktop, including at large text sizes.
- We test major flows (booking a callback, calling the office, navigating to key pages) with keyboard-only navigation and with mainstream screen readers.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible:
- Some embedded third-party content (for example, Google Maps, review widgets, or social media embeds) is governed by the accessibility of those external services.
- Older photos on the site may not have ideal alt text; we are reviewing and updating those as we go.
- The before-and-after gallery uses a lightbox viewer; we continue to improve its keyboard and screen-reader experience.
If you encounter a barrier we haven't listed here, please tell us — see the next section.

Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technology
The website is designed to work with current versions of:
- Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge browsers
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- TalkBack on Android
- NVDA and JAWS on Windows
The site may not work as expected in browsers that are several versions out of date.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is a process, not a one-time fix. We review and update this site regularly, and we treat accessibility issues the same way we treat any other bug — we want to know about them, and we want to fix them.
